"I would like to note that even though two bags were broken open the buckets are air sealed and the food "should" still last. However, another side note, the bucket says "up to 20 years" but the best by date on the Cheese Powder was 26-April-2027. 1- When people buy food storage they buy it to be prepared and having a damage product just isn't acceptable. 2- Items that have a best by date should be noted on the outside of the bucket."
"I didn't do it, and I wouldn't do it in a survival situation, throw some sandwich bags in the bucket. I seasoned the first few hearty vegetable mixes because the flavor was clumped up in the bottom, and when I did eat the flavoring, it still didn't overpower the dish. The meals vary per day, but do end up feeling bland about ten days in. Ten days is as long as I went without breaking the pattern and it was not fun, but I've managed to keep about three days on and one day off this food source without feeling suicidal. If you're not going to eat it, do not remove anything from the bucket. I took out one bag of each product and put the remaining back into the bucket."
"The potatoes do separate from the rest of the soup mix in the bag, so you do have to mix it up before cooking if you are making less than the 6 servings that each bag contains. Each contain 7.5 servings. I have not tried the other items, but I will list how many servings of everything that is included in the kit: Cheese (30 servings). Cheesy Broccoli Rice (30 servings). Creamy Potato Soup (30 servings). Creamy Chicken Rice (30 servings). Hearty Vegetable Blend (30 servings). Instant Potatoes (30 servings). Macaroni (30 servings). Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal (40 servings). Morning Moo Milk Mix (80 servings). Each bag also includes an oxygen absorber. I plan on taking several of the packets that I have not used yet and put it in my emergency bag. The cooking instructions are printed on the back of each bag as well as on a flier included in the pack. The flier also includes a 30 and 45 day meal planner."

"Here at HANS Survival we tested a few of the major emergency food ration bars and the S.O.S 3600 Calorie Food Bar had the greatest packaging. The food doesn't crumble to bad and a major plus is that it's not thirst provoking, the food will not dry out your mouth when your eating it, but remember you still have to consume water as you can live longer without food than you can without water."
"Per bar: 9 individually wrapped bars in a airtight vacum sealed bag. Calories: 410. fat: 18g, 7 sat, 3.5 trans. cholesterol: 0mg. sodium: 15mg. total carbs: 53g, dietary fiber 1g, sugars 31g. protein: 8g. vit A: 6% daily. vit C: 15% daily. calcium: 2%. Iron: 6%. The production date was 01/13 with an exp of 12/17, recieved on 02/13, so wasn't sent with a lot of time off of the use by date. Of the two packages that have been opened, one had 9 individually sealed bars with very secure seals, the other had a few bars with what seemed lightly wrapped seals. I've been letting the second package age and comparing how the bars taste at one week intervals after the main seal is broken. Taste is still acceptable, maybe even good, and I've enjoyed bringing them as lunches for long days."
"These emergency rations are intended for a lifeboat or fallout shelter where you are sitting all day for several weeks not expending much energy. Maybe you can leave some in your car if you travel the back roads during the winter or the desert during the summer and it might be days before you are rescued. Each 410 calorie bar is wrapped in thin plastic wrapper so you can just open the amount you want to eat. They suggest you eat two bars per day for a total of 820 calories in an emergency situation. It does not have enough vitamins and the thin plastic wrapper is not enough protection for the unused bars. Once you open the outer package the bars are only protected by a thin plastic wrap and some of them were not sealed or closed completely. Add in the fact it is low in vitamins and minerals and this brand does not make the cut for me."

"It should also be noted that at least with the vanilla ones they have a high dairy content so if you are lactose intolerant you may not want to be taking these with you into the field."
"I wanted to really give these survival tabs a test so I next went on a 6 day camping trip and only used half the recommended number of tabs each day. I think every individual should have the 8 day supply of these survival tabs in their bug out bags because used as recommended they will have no problem feeling hungry of or a lack of energy and they can stretch the usage for up to 16 days if they feel the need."

"I got these for me and my girlfriend, we love the outdoors."
"What a dizzying array of applications for this bracelet...at least 45 according to the manufacturer, including some you'd never think of: using it for a clothesline; as a pet collar; and my personal favorite, "tie criminals or intruders to a tree stake or chair". =). Packaged together with the bracelets (I ordered the 2-bracelet option in black and olive) is a handy instruction manual with step-by-step directions for the compass, the fire starter, and how to use whistle survival codes. Strike it correctly over a generous handful of dryer lint, layered with a few tiny dry twigs, and voilà -- you'll have a small fire that you can easily build on. Follow-up note: the bracelet arrived earlier than the promised date in perfect condition, packaged well and with detailed instructions."
"I loved them so much but they didn't fit me and are abit big for my husband but he is still wearing it."
"I was a little disappointed at the size of the compass and whistle."
"This is a Christmas gift for a friend if the family so I'm not familiar with the quality of the product etc."
"Upon receiving the "TWO" pack I inspected the items and they look like they are well made and para-cord is always useful in the bush."
"I got these for my son to go on his Boy Scout Campout and it worked out great almost all the parents went out and ordered some for there kids too."
"I that review I said there was no knife and no whistle."
