Reviews
"Great Touch Activity Desk for learning all sorts of things. A few things to note: the child needs to learn not to lean on/touch the table other than when they are intentionally touching/interacting with it. The table is very sensitive - you don't push the buttons, you just touch it - so it goes all haywire when she's leaning on it. It might be nice if they gave a little border at the front so kids can lean on it/put their hands somewhere - and have the buttons further up. Older children can be taught to be careful - but my 2 year old wouldn't know until she got hurt. The stool and table are quite strong and sturdy due to the legs bending out - so it has a nice wide base. Personally, my 2 year old needs some more growing up and calming down before she can really take advantage of this product, but there's no doubt that she can learn a lot from it."
"So if you buy this watch the fingers when they pull the table back down to play."
"He had the original Touch and Learn Activity Desk which was one of his favorite toys; however, the new expansion packs only fit this new desk. The desk is very interactive and holds my toddler's attention for very long periods of time."
"Music Jammer with colorful keyboard and different musical instruments, plus music genres (jazz, hip-hop, rock, pop, R&B). 5. Fruits & Colors. Yes, there is an OFF button, Parents - but, unfortunately, it's easy enough for a child to turn it back on. There is a clear female voice that gives directions, sings, and in other ways interacts with the child."
"The desk also flips open into a chalkboard/art desk."

"This is an inexpensive learning tool for toddlers but my grandson LOVES it! The screen is a very basics black and grey but it works for him!"
"Didn't work - she loved her videos & games on the iPad much better! I was hoping the laptop would work as I don't like giving her iPad screen time, but for a long flight, you do whatever works!"
"Unlike ever other mock child's laptop I've encountered the activities are actually accessible to a preschooler, possibly even a toddler. There is no particular reason, why the user couldn't customize the entire email and not just the person it is from and to. It is a good, fun distracting toy for long trips, potty bribery and such."
"It has taken me a long time to write a review but I just noticed I never left one."
"When I bought this Leap Frog "My Own Leaptop" in June, 2017, I realized it was a newer version than the one I purchased in 2012, but I figured they would have simply made improvements upon the old model. To do this you must have the LeapFrog "My Own Leaptop" USB connector cable (see last photo), internet access, a USB port, and Adobe Flash software (an easy, free download that the LeapFrog software prompts you to download if you don't have it). I bought the used leaptop shown in the photos for $8 with free shipping and no cable. It arrived today and with new batteries and my old cable I was able to reprogram each of the customizable features and now it's perfect! - You can select one "sing along" song, and five melody songs for it to play, and it also plays a song spelling out your child's name. - When you push the "blog" button, it reads a blog entry and then asks your child [by name] about their day. - You can personalize three "email" messages by selecting text from a dropdown menu (you cannot type your own message) and entering the sender (e.g., "Grandma" or "Betsy"). - In the alphabet mode when your child pushes the first letter of their name it will switch between one of two results. Love, [Scout or Violet, depending on whether you have the boy or girl version] Let's reply. It doesn't read the reply you type (which makes sense since most children will push letters randomly). - In the alphabet mode when your child pushes the first letter of their name it will switch between one of two results. Both of our children really like singing and dancing to the music and playing at receiving and writing emails. The main reason our children, and in turn we ourselves, like the old version of this toy so much is because it engages them directly by name so frequently through the alphabet, music, email and blog modes. We brought our 2012 Leaptop every time we traveled with our son from about age 18 months to 3 years. His interest waned enough after that that we no longer brought it on travels, but it remains a much beloved toy for home use to this day. We are extremely confident that the used old version of the Leaptop we just bought our daughter is sure to be her new favorite toy."
"This version does NONE of that."
"I had read it wasn't as good as old version but I didn't know the old."

"(My daughter is 4) I just found that my daughter listened but didn't try at all to relate the words on the page with those read out though she knows her letters and a lot of the sounds they make she wasn't interested in that part of the books, but more in the little tunes Tag sang."
"This is an awesome educational book for the Tag Junior Reading System."
"Part of the reason why I love these books for my nephew is that it makes reading fun for him, which is something that I think is important if he is going to continue to enjoy learning."
"I bought a used Tag reader/pen (which reads Junior books as well as Tag and LeapReader books) so that we had more data storage."
"I bought my granddaughter the Leap Reader Pen, and this is for the "Junior" and not the Leap 'Reader'."
"the sentences are just a few words long, so he's able to repeat them verbatim which makes him feel like he's reading, and makes him feel SUPER proud!"
"My daughter loves her tag so we bought these to assist with learning phonics."
"Hopefully someone can figure out what they work with other than the Junior pen but still haven't figured out what that is yet."
