The game's planet-hopping adventures are driven by your exploration of these connections and how they relate to your larger goal of discovering the source of the Sith's sudden fleet. During your adventure you can explore side quests minor (such as racing swoops or gambling) and major (such as uncovering the fascinating back stories of your companions). Star Wars fans will get a kick out of the rich lore introduced in the game, particularly the Tatooine storyline that reveals the origin and history of the Sand People. Depending on who you chose to take with you, new dialogue and even intra-party arguments come into the game (put the Mandalorian veteran with the Republic patriot and you'll see sparks fly). Combat is real-time turn-based, meaning the turns are seamless but the player has the option of pausing the action at any time to issue orders or direct any character to use a certain Force power, ability, feat, or item. Battles are just brilliant, with characters pumping out blaster fire at Jedi who dash, dodge, and even deflect the bolts back toward their assailants. You are a young Jedi Knight, charged with leading a group of freedom fighters across the galaxy.

Your many goals include attacking enemy outposts, raiding underground labs for advanced technology, rescuing fallen comrades, stealing alien vehicles and weaponry and sniping at enemy forces. As the player and fellow marines exit, the remaining troopers form a flank in reaction to an oncoming onslaught of human and alien enemies. As you venture through mission objectives, a variety of enemy flyers and on-ground buggies are yours for the taking. Control a character during massive firefights as you eliminate as many Covenant soldiers as possible.

Find Best Price at Amazon"I don't play many and hell, I didn't even touch an FPS game til Perfect Dark all the way back on the N64. This game is no different as the music stands out to me whether being atmospheric,catchy or even dynamic when the situation calls for it. I won't try to spoil anything but basically you play a character named Master Chief and you go to all these areas to do a variety of things. I won't spoil what it is but suffice to say it did make the 2nd half of the game a lot more interesting. Now back the multiplayer component itself, basically there are different types of modes whether death match,race,capture the flag etc. I can't say though I played the original's multiplayer given I don't have another 360 controller but from the gameplay footage I have saw of this game it's very solid I will say. Now yeah, now that I brought up all the positives with my experience with this game I will also bring up the negatives. I'm not too terribly upset that 2 and 3 ditched this system and I hear it was handled better in ODST and Reach. A great game I recommend if you haven't played it but does have a few flaws that keeps it from being my favorite in the trilogy."
