"The jaws are too big for 4-cyl engine (smaller transmission input shaft diameters) applications, but it has worked fine on V6/V8 larger transmission jobs."
"Wow..."
"Worked perfectly on my 98 mustang gt pilot bearing."
"looks well made but too large for a .550 dia."

"Used it to pull out a pilot bushing on a Chevy 350 crank."
"The first one was seized up and I couldn't turn the threaded shaft in the block."
"This did work, and a little trick is, tighten up til you feel the lugs lock onto the bearing."
"Much better than the version that needs to be attached to a slide hammer."
"The tool I received was like the one pictured except that it had a hex nut instead of a wing nut, which I believe makes it a better, more sturdy tool, and it feels and looks like a good quality tool."
"Its solid and just what I needed to get the pilot bearing out of the flywheel slot. The arms fit right into this very small bearing which came out of a 1997 Audi A4 1.8t 5 speed manual. The problem that I encountered with pulling the bearing out the slot with the tool ,only let me get only a 1/4" of the bearing out (not all of it.)."

Reviews
"A ton of maintenance items need to be performed (AC overhaul, Power Steering, Rear Main Seal, Electrical issues, and a little body work) but are well within my abilities. I soaked the thing in PB Blaster, hit the sides and the puller bolt with a 3lb sledge, applied heat, and only managed to bend the 2 pullers rented from Autozone and Advance Auto. I removed it from the standard, "No Frills", packaging and applied some synthetic grease to the threads just to ensure everything would go smoothly."
"The Mercedes pitman is on really tightly and takes some real tension to get it to remove. Method I used was to tighten the tension on the puller and then tap the pitman with a small hammer."
"Don't get me wrong, it was still a PITA to get the pitman arm off, but I never would have gotten it off if it were not for this tool."
"I had to use a breaker bar initially, but just as i thought the threads on this thing had stripped, Much to my surprise, the pitman arm just fell off."
"I tried using a pickle fork, a "3 pronged" traditional puller, a hammer, penetrating oil, and heat to try and remove the large pitman arm from my early saginaw power steering box."
"I bought this puller after doing tons of research on which one would be best for pulling the pitman arm on my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500. The main thing with forcing bolt style puller is to keep the threads lubricated."
"If you need to get a pitman arm off this is the real deal.Do,nt even mess around with those two arm pullers and hope that it does not snap the arms off. This puller is nice and heavy and THICK just make sure you lube the jack forcing screw with good chassis grease because its going to get HOT this weakens the forcing screw threads and strip out happens.no more cheap pullers to buy now that I have this BAD BOY!"
