The rubber adhesiveness when tested on a variety of surfaces did not reveal a discernible difference between the 3 brands. As one comment said, “It’s ALIVE!”. The Scotch tape is crinkled or wavy on the roll and if cut cleanly, the edge is hard to locate. For years, at the end of the fireplace season, I have placed a heavy tarp over the top of a brick chimney and secured it with black duct tape. I took several samples of each brand and folded the tape, adhesive side in, creating double-thickness strips 1/2-inch wide. I placed one end in a bench vice with padded jaws so the metal would not break the tape. A new Rapala digital fishing scale hooked to the Vice-Grip would reveal at what weight the strip of tape would break. The Scotch TOUGH Heavy Duty Tape broke at a mere 5 pounds."

"The temperature (color) of the light is a cool white, not a warm white or yellow as with some lights. It is bright, and the beams brightness is evenly distributed and doesn't have any spots brighter than others. The Bushnell TRKR125 in comparison (while also a great flashlight for the price) has a warmer light and the beam is not evenly distributed (attached picture - J5 is the whiter, Bushnell has the bright spot). Cons: I wish the 1" portion of the tube (smaller section under the clip) was longer to make using a mount for a weapon light easier, by reducing the section behind the telescoping beam projector."

Find Best Price at Amazon"Due to a rash of mail theft in my area, I decided to upgrade my locking mail box to something that is more difficult to fish (most of this is people just coming by and reaching in for whatever they can get), as well as more difficult to pry open. The box that it replaces is an older version of the Gibraltar MSK00000 mailbox available here on Amazon and the box stores for about $60. As to prying the box open, while the lock and steel case are noticeably heavier duty than the box it replaces (and other boxes in this price range), I don't believe it would stand up to a serious attempt to pry it open. If the lock stood up (which it well might), I think the door would bend open enough to allow for mail to be taken, and then the door and/or box would need to be replaced. Cons: - For someone looking for a box that can't be pried, you want to look for heavier grade steel and tighter tolerances on fit and finish, so that is not so easy to get a screw driver or other pry tool into the top or sides of the locking door. - Because Mail Boss makes a big deal in their ads about preventing mail theft and showing guys prying open competitors' mail boxes, I rated this a four star product instead of five stars. - For people that want a box that is significantly more secure, Fort Knox mail boxes appear to be one good way to go. You may need a new post install (with a significant concrete base) to hold the mail box which weighs about 100lbs, and you'd be well advised to have two people to install something that heavy."
"As with most people here, there has been a rash of mail thefts in our area so I wanted to get a good locking mailbox. The front mail receive flap is very strong and has a full hinge along its lower edge, I tried to fish my hand in the slot and could not get anywhere in the main box. The lower compartment has a reinforced metal welded front panel and anti-pry feature around the lock - to me this looks pretty hard to open up even with a crow bar. As for a negative, that would be that some water was able to get in, it rained A LOT this weekend and was pretty windy and I did note some minimal water getting in at the bottom of the lower compartment towards the back not sure where it got in from and if that is to be expected with heavy rain, however it does have drainage holes and a liner that holds the mail up from the base so did not effect the mail."

"Have ten windows in the home, so got two Duck 1299529 window shrink film kits, and a low cost Jerdon 1600 watt blow drier. Wiped the dust off the trim with a damp paper towel per window, dried, then used one of the four faces on each alcohol wipe for each side of the window trim. Lift an inch or so of the tape off the roll, grab one end, and pull on one side until you hear/feel a soft pop, then the other side the same way. Peel back the protective cover an inch or two, cut the half inch off of the messed up tape with your scissors, and and fold the cover crease) to one side ninety degrees.
