Due to this SEGA made a lot of tie in games in order to appeal to its fans. This means that the anime games are mostly unique to this system and are made with a touch of extra care. For a fan of old school anime and the easy to remove region encoding this was a definite plus for the system."

But I found that you get certain power-ups later in the game that will help you do what you couldn't do before, and it's great to use the map to go back and do what you wanted to do in the first place."

This was important since one of my favorite retro-games, Dungeons and Dragons Shadow over Mystara, requires the 4MB RAM card. I think there's only a few games out there that won't work; King of Fighters 95 comes to mind,but I can't remember the others."
