When I first played the game I noticed places I couldn't get to, and no matter how hard I tried nothing worked. But I found that you get certain power-ups later in the game that will help you do what you couldn't do before, and it's great to use the map to go back and do what you wanted to do in the first place."

Find Best Price at Amazon"The arcade was pretty good a cycling out the crap and keeping the good stuff, so every year when we got there, I would grab a handful of the quarters I had been saving and rush out to see the new releases. The fancy 3d-ish graphics always drew my eye (even though now I feel that the sprite graphics were much more detailed and had a lot more personality) so I was instantly drawn to this one (even though it would still be a few years before I would actually see the film Die Hard). I remember playing it for a bit to get a feel for it and then moving on to sample the other new cabinets. Sadly, the rest of our stay that year, I did not get into the arcade much and that game was always occupied when I was there. It's just ok. At one point you fight a bunch of dudes in a bathroom in their underwear with a rocket launcher . it has ABSOLUTEY nothing to do with Die Hard other than John McClain as the main character and he's kinda modelled after Bruce Willis) but it's a solid example of classic arcade action."
"Die Hard Arcade is one of the GREATEST arcade games in the HISTORY OF EVER. Anyways, this game is the best."

"DHA is loosely based on the movie Die Hard, unlike Die Hard Trilogy which follows the movie to a tee, but should that bother us? You have over SIXTY fighting moves to attack and defend with, and you'll need every one of them, because there's more bad guys to fight than I could ever count. You fight floor to floor, in the halls, employee break rooms, janitor closets, car garages, storage rooms, and even on the rooftop. There is the biker Hog, A Mexican wrestler Jocko, a general, a sumo wrestler, laser shooting spiderbots, and the big cheese himself Wolf ( white Fang ) Hongo! ( I told you it loosely follows the movie. ). One minute you're using a high-damage missile launcher or an anti-tank cannon, the next minute you're hitting the baddie with a broom, or throwing a pepper shaker at them."

Find Best Price at Amazon"So I found Land Stalker, Phantasy Star, and Beyond Oasis, all great Sega Genesis action RPG's. ( identical to the original ) You play as Leon, and as Leon you try to obtain the loyalty of the six elemental spirits so you can become the spirit king. Like any self respecting RPG there are stats screens so you can keep track of your hit points, spells, rank, weapons, ( lots of weapons ) spirits, gems, scrolls, status, and location."

Find Best Price at Amazon"This will make the games a lot smoother while opening up all regions on your console and will give you more storage space so you don't need to buy any extras that would cost you more money. Due to this SEGA made a lot of tie in games in order to appeal to its fans. This means that the anime games are mostly unique to this system and are made with a touch of extra care. For a fan of old school anime and the easy to remove region encoding this was a definite plus for the system."
"The Saturn was created during an era where both 2D and 3D games were still the norm. This made creating Saturn games very difficult as the creator had to bypass an entire half of the board or incorporate both."

"Not only does the ARP allow you to play almost all Japanese Saturn games on the North American model, but it also has the RAM expansion. This was important since one of my favorite retro-games, Dungeons and Dragons Shadow over Mystara, requires the 4MB RAM card. I think there's only a few games out there that won't work; King of Fighters 95 comes to mind,but I can't remember the others."
"I did have an issue with mine due to something stupid I did, which forced me to re-flash the cartridge, but after that, I had no problems. (There's an ISO online you can burn that will help you in case this happens, but you'll have to use a modchip, or the disc swap trick to use it.)."
