However, the Shield has a monster CPU and GPU compared to those devices so it makes sense. I got rid of the Fire TV and Roku Streaming sticks as I got frustrated with how slow and buggy they could be. The app is really too much for Roku and Fire TV to handle and is very clunky and unstable. The Google Play channel is also a huge difference compared to the buggy offering on Roku. I also sideloaded Kodi and can simply hook up a HDD through USB and watch all my shows straight on the Shield with no hassles. Its $200, but the power of the device, the versatility of it and the great controller it comes with makes its well worth the cost if you need all its features."

I did experience some lag that made me have to quit the game, thinking that it might just be such a large game, i mean it's a 60 gb game that's huge! Overall the system is killer, this isn't what i can confidently call a console, it plays games much better than anything else in it's class, but it isn't a dedicated gaming system such as a Playstation 4 or XBOX One, or gaming PC This is a bridge, a compromise, for those who have a situation like me.
