Bought one and decided to get more for friends and family (whom I am familiar with their musical tastes) as a holiday gift. Andre Bocelli, Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Peter Cetera, Boz Scaggs, Celine Dion, Brian McKnight, Eric Benet, Kenny G, Babyface, Blake Shelton, Cheryl Lynn, Katherine McPhee with cameos by Barbara Streisand, Whitney Houston, John Travolta and Kevin Costner. I thought that I am already too old to get goosebumps; but her performance on this event was absolutely jaw dropping. For the finale, Josh Groban took David's seat on the piano for his rendition of "You Raised me Up" and "Bridge Over Troubled Water" with Brian McKnight."

"Favorite songs are the soaring Living With Ghosts, the ROCKIN Dead Sleep and Strange and then there's Ghettoverit which is so funny (if you get the joke) that it reminds me of something Adam Sandler would do if he were a real musician.Also really cool is hearing how the boys work with songs co-written by the likes of Aaron Lewis from Staind (big surprise for me there, I liked it) and the guy from Marcy PLayground (Paper Dolls is another GREAT song on this disc).I can't see how anyone could be disappointed by this CD. If you’re able to unshackle your heart and mind of their expectations (an admittedly hard thing to do for fans, and perfectly understandable when they can’t) of what Q2K should be then you can sit back and enjoy some mighty fine modern rock. He doesn’t wail his guts out, true, but he sings with varied warmth and heat and even nuance amidst mostly driving songs. But the benefit of this is that it allows the guitars to be more emotionally expressive and punctuate lines and moments rather than shred, scream, or blister and squeal. Emotionally packed music with thick guitar parts driving in tandem with the bass kick of the drums. 6) Beside You—Moving back to featuring more melody and a slower tempo and having Tate draw out his vocals the chorus builds and then satisfies when it flattens out. 7) Liquid Sky—With some slick production to blend moments together this song can get old pretty quickly if set on repeat but standing in the midst of this set it offers a bit of a different sound, the most engaging bits being Tate’s almost spoken transitions to singing style. A little hard to get into but a good track with a mean groove on the chorus and some of the album’s best guitar work. Strong rock track that loses its sensual edge live."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I was one of many who wrote a scathing review of Illud on Amazon back when it came out. I stand by each and every word of that review years later. I’ve been a fan since Altars came out way back when and after an eight year wait Illud was like a kick to the head it was so bad. Well, Trey gave Vincent, Destructhor and Tim the boot. It’s got the speed, the riffs and a great lead at the end. but it’s still a straight ahead blast off to what is a great album. This song has been universally praised by just about every website and I don’t understand why. One of the longer songs but it has a ton of twists and turns that held my attention. Sludgy with insanely fast double bass. Tucker’s an accomplished bassist so it’s nice to hear more of him in this song. The Earth was supposed to sound like originally lol. Declaring New Law. The song starts out monstrous but sort of fizzles. The Fall of Idols. Tucker is on FIRE on this song. In this day and age where every underground recording has crystal clear production, Kingdom’s Disdained is VERY old school sounding. It sounds muddy but once I played around with the settings on my phone (Hint, ease up on the drums a little) it sounds awesome now. It’s raw, dirty and clear if that makes any sense. I had it turned all the way up to max on my headphones and it’s still not as painfully loud as most modern releases. Scotty on drums……finding a replacement for Pete was not easy but he’s got the power, the technique and most importantly the swing and groove Pete had. Steve….a lot of people side with Vincent since he was on the bands classic albums. Hopefully we won’t have to wait ten years for the “L” album. (Favorite Songs). Piles Of Little Arms. D.E.A.D. Righteous Voice. For No Master. Fall of Idols. Songs I didn’t care for but still aren’t bad. Kingdom’s Disdained, Raw, brutal, brilliant and a true return to form from the masters themselves."

The Armoury Records reissues' booklet was a simple reproduction ... with the associated loss of detail and clarity."

In South Africa he was loved by the young population, 'He Crucified our minds'. He opened our eyes in an apartheid era, when we were blinded by it's evils. It was possibly the greatest Album never heard, but there may have been a 'Rich Folks Hoax' somewhere."
